A girl with a hula hoop becomes a goldfish becomes the Earth itself.  The ordinary and the extraordinary loop and transform in the playful take on the circle of life told in grains of sand.

A fisherman experiences a moment of connection with a female humpback whale in the waters of off San Francisco.  This true story is retold in paint on a 16 foot high wall with the help of the passing public.

 

MR. HUBLOT

OCD sufferer Mr Hublot lives in a frightening, fully automated world from which he hides, working from home. One day he spies an abandoned robot dog about to be crushed with the garbage and rescues it. The dog makes Mr Hublot very happy but it grows to an enormous size, forcing Mr Hublot to embrace a welcoming change as they move to larger premises.  Academy Award Winner!

 

A SMALL SURFER MAKES BIG WAVES

At just six years old, pint-sized Australian surfer Quincy Symonds is already tipped as a future Layne Beachley or Stephanie Gilmore. They call her The Flying Squirrel. She may well be the best six-year-old surfer and skater on the planet and she’s already crashed through some adult-size obstacles in her short life.

 

At the INTERMISSION (30 mins), join us outside (or on the stage in case of bad weather) for fun and activities!  After the intermission, you'll have the chance to see films made my local filmmakers from the Trailhead Children's Museum Film Class, taught by Katie Hadar from Colorado Mesa University!

In 40 degree heat, in the largest sand desert on the planet, 2 ski-travellers go looking for the one of the world's strangest of ski environments: Ski Dubai. In the midst of a city of dizzying ambition, this 'local hill' climbs 60 vertical meters out of a luxury shopping mall.
