Bike Parade Kick-off & Poutine Party

Thursday, September 26 | 3 pm | Meet at the Public House (outside), 202 Elk Ave.

Get into gear for the weekend by riding in the Bike Parade! Grab your townie bike and join us for this most famous of CB traditions: a slow-moving, ever-winding, fun-filled, bike parade through the streets and alleys of CB (complete with a secret stop!). Mingle with other festival-goers and filmmakers. Post ride, there will be time to order Poutine at the Public House…all before the evening’s Opening Night Films!

Bring your bike to the fest or you can rent one at Big Al's Bicycle Heaven. 

Everyone is welcome. Free event. Food and drink for purchase.

Fall Colors Ride with Stio

Friday, September 27 | 2- 4 pm | The Four Way Stop, 601 Elk Ave.

Join us for a fall colors ride on the Lupine Trail. Bring your bike and be ready for some fun. Meet at the Stio van at the Four Way Stop parking lot. Some mountain bike experience is necessary, but this is a "no drop" ride. After the ride, connect with us again at the Outdoor Adventure Program during the Festival (starts at 9pm) at the Center for the Arts.

YETI Built for the Wild Hike with Photographer Xavier Fane

SAT, SEPT 28 | 4 pm | Peanut Lake Road

Enjoy a fall colors walk in the woods while learning from local photographer Xavi Fane. Sponsored by YETI.

From the town of Crested Butte, drive west on Elk Avenue and turn right on First Street. Make a left at the end of First Street onto Butte Ave. This turns into a dirt road and Peanut Lake road. Park at the clearly designated area on your left, 1.2 miles up the road ( after you pass a small lake). Wheelchair access.

Awards Ceremony

Celebrate the award-winning films and directors at this illuminative event. Some of our most memorable moments have happened at this celebration of talent. Plus, make sure you catch these films during the last showings on Sunday.
